HOW IT STARTED
M I R A started with a simple idea — to make candles that look good, smell incredible, and mean something real. Built on a love for design, fragrance, and self-care, every product is crafted to bring warmth, calm, and a touch of quiet luxury into everyday life. Each candle is poured by hand, designed to make your space feel peaceful and personal — a small reminder to pause, breathe, and glow different.
The name MIRA comes from the Latin and Romanian word meaning to admire — a reflection of appreciation, beauty, and light. It’s inspired by the idea of pausing to notice what’s around you and finding calm in the simple moments. Every candle carries that meaning — a quiet reminder to admire more and glow different.
We use high-quality vegan soy wax for our home fragrance, strong yet balanced scents, and clean, long burns — so you get products that last, smell incredible, and never feel overpowering, everything is handmade.

My name is Andreea Marin
I am the founder of MIRA. I was born in Romania and moved away at 18, but my background continues to shape who I am and who I’m becoming. I stay connected to where I come from and carry that with me in everything I do.
I work with a strong focus on quality and detail, and I’m involved in every stage of the process. I design scents with presence and longevity, created to sit naturally in real spaces — not just to look good, but to feel right.
